Dear Jamie,

I love you and miss you so much that at times I can’t even bring myself to call to you…it just makes me too sad. I knew it would be hard to be away from you but I didn’t realize it would be this hard. No one in this great big world knows me quiet like you do. I miss having you call me on BS, I miss just sitting and talking about recipes over a glass of wine, I miss watching you grow as a mother and I hate missing your baby girls milestones.

Meet Lisa + Charlie! They are the cutest couple and happen to be two of our most awesome friends! Charlie and Tony (my husband) have been best friends since they were 8 years old. So, when I asked if I would photograph their wedding I was like…ummmm…..YES!

I have had the pleasure of watching this little family grow over the years. Jennifer and I were in a Mommy group together, I met her when my son (now 4 1/2) was only 9 months old and I had just found out I was pregnant with Ella. I took her maternity photos a couple years ago and have now spend more then one milestone with this warm, loving, fun, laid back family!

Pinterest fooled me…Martha I am not…

So…apparently Pinterest has fooled me into thinking I am Martha Stewart…which I am so not! But I definitely had fun organizing my daughters 3rd birthday! My parents came into town (thank God) and helped me get everything party perfect…because of course these crafts alway seem easy until it is 1:22am and you are starting to realize you may never finish…can I get an AMEN!

I spent the morning of the party baking the Rainbow Birthday Cake…which I was so excited for my baby girl to cut into and the look on her face when I put that slice of cake on her plate was worth every moment! Here are a couple photos!

OMG! I thought my kids loved trains…these two guys are crazy over trains, that is why it was only fitting for us to meet at the Boca Raton Train Museum! From toy trains to real trains these two guys were all in and so excited!

When Sylvia and I first spoke about her wedding she let me know how important it was to her that I captured “moments” between her and Robert. Their wedding was going to be intimate with just close family and friends and she wanted her photos to feel the same. After the ceremony started, I could see why…the love between these two was all that was needed. It was truly and honor to be apart of their special day and to get to witness two people so very much in love devote their lives to one another.
